Welcome to the The Simpsons: Hit & Run wiki guide. Welcome to the wonderful city of Springfield! Everything is peaceful and quiet, besides the usual ruckus, when something peculiar happens.
- Dec 02, 2019 The Simsons Hit & Run is an absolute classic and today we're bringing it back! After rumors flew around about The Simpsons Hit and Run Remaster, I wanted to try out all the Hit & Run Cars, Maps.
- Sep 16, 2003 Drive Any Vehicle. First, 100% complete the game. Now go to either OPTIONS menu, hold L+R, and press A, B, A, B. Now go to a phone booth, and when in the phone booth menu, press L or R to open a sub-menu where you can select from any of the game's vehicles. Contributed By: DeepFriedBurger.

Simpsons Hit And Run Wiki
Initial Setup
1. Open your splits in LiveSplit and right-click > Edit Splits. Make sure your game name is set to 'The Simpsons: Hit & Run' (without the quotes) and then click the 'Activate' button that should have now appeared.
2. Download the 'Alternate Timing Method' LiveSplit component from the LiveSplit Components page. Extract the files into your LiveSplit's 'Components' folder.
3. Open LiveSplit and add 'Alternate Timing Method' (under 'Information') to your layout. 'Alternate Timing Method' will show your time with loads. Make sure to save your layout and add them to any other layouts you may use for this game!
4. Make sure your LiveSplit is set to show Game Time in the main splits; right-click > Compare Against > Game Time.
For Every Use
You don't need to do anything after the initial setup! Your splits should now display the time without loads and the time with loads (by default this will be called 'Real Time' but you can change that through the settings of the component on the layout) all the time, as long as you use the same splits and layout.
Other Help/Information
• The load remover currently supports the FairLight No-CD EXE (very common), along with some non-English versions No-CD EXEs.
• Ask on the forums if you are still stuck.

This is a sub-page of The Simpsons: Hit & Run.
Inside the game files, there are a number of models that go unused for unknown reasons.
Internal Name | Image | Description |
---|---|---|
franke_m | Unused model for a male child pedestrian intended to spawn in Level 7. He shares his quotes with male children found in Level 1 to Level 6. | |
askinn_m | Unused 3D model of Agnes Skinner. Possibly meant to be a passenger in Skinner's Sedan (replacing the low-poly model of her present in the vehicle) however more likely meant as a pedestrian, as she has unique quotes for being hit, avoiding a car, and being kicked. |
Simpsons Hit And Run Tier List 1
Using a cheat code, the player can cycle through every character model to allow them to play as any character in any level.
In the PC version, hold F1 and press Down Arrow, Down Arrow, Down Arrow, Left Arrow in the options menu.
In the US GameCube version, enter the below Gecko code then press B during gameplay:
- 4Console Exclusive Files
gaghomer
A model similar in appearance to Homer's Road Rage model, with a few subtle changes (no hair at the back of his head, a tongue and some teeth) intended for use on the title screen, as seen in early screenshots. This model is also found amongst the Main Menu models, which evidences this.
Podium
A podium, presumably intended for the bonus game.
Simpsons Hit And Run 2
Pedestal
An early version of the pedestal featured in the game.
Console Exclusive Files
Certain unused files can only be found inside the console versions of the game, as opposed to the PC version.
carbox.p3d
A box, presumably for holding cars. The use of this box is unknown, however it is placed inside Level 6's files. Interestingly although it is inside the console versions it uses the file format of the PC version.
Placing it in game shows it to be incomplete. It has no animations on it at all. Other than that it works fine.
chaps.p3d
A pair of chaps, meant for use in the Level 7 bonus mission Flaming Tires. It does not seem to match Burns' character but does fit Smithers' character, so the mission may have originally involved collecting items for Smithers as well.
bbook.p3d
A phone book, again meant for use in Flaming Tires.
chat.p3d
A miner's helmet, again meant for use in Flaming Tires. Like chaps.p3d it doesn't match Burns' character.
